Yates of New Bern, Pormlee Curtis Cox (Tanisa) of New Bern and Paula; her children-in-law, George and Mae Cox of New Bern; her pet Bad Boy; her goddaughter Juanita Powell of New Bern; and her godfather Dewey (Shirley Moore Stokes). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; five sisters-in-law.
