She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ipock and Vera Ipock; and her siblings, Ray Ipock and Caroline Connolly. She is survived by: her husband Charles Amerson; her children, Betty Tripp, Gary Amerson (Kathryn), Pamela Thomas (Jimmy) and Karen Barrow (Greg); her grandchildren, Jimmy Tripp (Christina), Tonya Wainright, Rebecca Thomas (Michael), Brittany Flowers, Kasi Barker (Robbie), Evan Wetherington, Sierra Thomas, Sydney Thomas, Sabella Thomas, Sophia Thomas, Justin Barrow and Eliza Barrow; and her brother Carlton Ipock (Ann). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Claudette's honor to Asbury Methodist Church.
