It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Daniel of Cove City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carrie Mae Daniel; his parents, Ollie Daniel and Winnie Daniel; and his son Kirk Lee Daniel. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Hooper of Cove City and Bobbie Jean Daniel of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Hank Daniel, Victoria Best, Kailyn Herglotz, Kristen Daniel, Justin Daniel and Samantha Daniel; his great grandchildren, London, Sakari, Aiden, Colton, Beau and Grey; and his siblings, Annie Lou Brock, Beatrice Barbour, Curwood Daniel and Robert Daniel.
