She is survived by: her husband Alfus Johnson; her children, Diann Bryant of Elizabethtown, NC, Michelle Johnson-Izegbune (Chieda) of Georgia, Celestine Beatty of Council, NC and Spencer Johnson (Thereasa) of Hope Mills, NC; her siblings, Loydell Beatty (Jeannette) of New Jersey, Samuel Beatty (Leverne) of Council, NC, Cornell Beatty (Nevada) of New York and Maybelle Simpson of South Carolina; and her grandchildren, Jasmin Vest, Joshua Johnson, Jalen Johnson and Torian Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
