He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" C. Young and Ida Graham Young; and his siblings, Herbert Young, Oree Young, Hazel Goodman and Irma Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Elvie Patrick Young; his children, Franklin D. Young of Council, Debra Y. Sholar (Glenn) of Wallace, Anthony "Tony" Young of Council, Beverly "Belle" Y. Jacobs (Stevie) of Bolton and Ida Y. Castro (Oscar) of Delco; and his siblings, Barabara Young of Council and Helen Y. Goodman of Clinton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
