She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Chester Oaks and Tommy Austin; and her siblings, Glenn Wolfington, Bill Thompson, Butch Wolfington, Bob Wolfington, Leona Thompson and Jean Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Oaks (Deborah) of Lenoir and Pati Hairfield of Lenoir; her stepchildren, Eddie Austin of Shelby, NC, Timmy Austin of Morganton, NC and Tammy Austin of Greensboro, NC; her siblings-in-law, Charles Wright of Michigan and Frances Wolfington of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Joshua Lovins, Chelsea Maxon and Kaitlyn Oaks; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Lovins, Harper Lovins and Kaylee Maxon.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Word in Truth Ministries Church with a Celebration of Life services conducted by Pastor Bill Bentley to follow at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, N.C. 28645.
