With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Constance Alberta Wirtz of Corolla, North Carolina, born in Hawthorne, New Jersey, who passed away on November 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Wirtz; her daughter Janette Petrie; and her parents, Mabel Royle and Howard Roughgarden. She is survived by: her daughter Jeri Shortway (Richard); her grandchildren, Dana Porcelli, Lynn Shortway (Deana Ward), Jessica Shortway (Arek Czyz) and Leigh Shortway; her great grandchildren, Paige, Leah, Dylan, Rylee, Aria, Bria and Nixon; and her sister-in-law Jane Farrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
