He is survived by: his wife Gail Williams Carroll; his children, Tracy Biittig (Jeff) of Charlotte, Donna Lindner of Charlotte and Bryan Carroll (Pauline) of Huntersville; his grandchildren, Evan Biittig, Molly Lindner, Shelbee Lindner, Evelyn, Miriam and Jack Carroll; his great grandchild Aubree Rushing; and his siblings, Raymond Carroll (Sue), Joyce Capriotti (Arnold) and Linda Haigh (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
