He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Henry Clay Jurney, Sr.; and his sister Melissa Jane Jurney. He is survived by: his mother Jane Taylor Pate Jurney; his wife Martha Funderburk Jurney; his children, Taylor Reeves Jurney and Rachel Rivers Jurney; his brothers, Henry Clay Jurney, Jr. and Robert Pate Jurney (Stephanie); his parents-in-law, Maxie and Ellen Funderburk; and his sister-in-law Ann Funderburk Anderson (Allan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
