He is survived by: his wife Elaine Crabb Howard; his children, Jennifer Howard Beard (Brent) of Cornelius and Jeffrey Howard (Kelly-Ann Howard) of Kannapolis; his granddaughters, Addie Beard, Emma Beard and Lydia Howard; and his brother Michael Howard of Huntersville.
