With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pauline Shirley Newman of Cornelius, North Carolina, born in Wiley, Georgia, who passed away on May 28, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Earl Newman; her parents, Roy Lee and Nancy Essie Lovell Shirley; and her brother Bud Shirley. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Housel (Scott), David Newman (Kimberly) and Angela Diemont (Stephen); her grandchildren, Zachary (Taylor Housel), Abbey (Scott Williams), Kevin, Andrew Newman, Nicole (Caleb Bubash), Austin, Cody Diemont, Noah and Hanna Mammano; and her siblings, Helen Smith and Melvin Shirley.
