She is survived by: her husband John McCaskey; her son Alex; her mother Betty McPherson of Winston-Salem; her brother David McPherson (Vanessa) of Charlotte; her sisters-in-law, Cindy Brown (Bob) of Boone, Kim McCaskey of Los Angeles and Sherrie McCaskey of McLean; and also Kathy Crutchfield (Brian) of Boone. She is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
