He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Koppenal and Roberta Koppenal. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Koppenal; his sons, John "Ken" Koppenal (Dawn), Keith Koppenal (Jennifer) and Kevin Koppenal; his sister Joan Schatzle (Alan); his sister-in-law Susan Thibodeau (Dave); his grandchildren, Alexa, Kaitlyn, Mia, Teagyn and Joseph; his niece Nicole; and his nephews, David, Michael, Brian and Arden.
