He was predeceased by: his parents, William Crowell and Lelia Crowell; his wife Inez Crowell; and his son Glenn Crowell. He is survived by: his children, Amy Biggerstaff (Harold), Mark Crowell (Linda) and Lloyd Crowell (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Tammy Smith (Chris), Gary Branch (Ginny), Erin Fesperman (Vic), Sarah Gazaway (Chris), Katie Crowell and Andrew Crowell (Sussy). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cornelius and the Levine & Dickson Hospice House – Huntersville.
