He was predeceased by: his parents, James Firth Poplin and Brigitte Kulig Poplin. He is survived by: his children, James Cameron Poplin (Ashley) of Mooresville, NC and Caroline Marie Poplin of Lynchburg, VA; and his siblings, Brigitte, Rick, Jerry and Bryan.
