We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2023, at the age of 91, George Vernon Irons (Cornelius, North Carolina), born in Randolph, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father George Vernon; his sons, David and Dwight Irons; and his brother Bill Irons. He is survived by: his wife Linda Johnson Irons; his children, Tracy Hildreth and Chad Umstead (Nicole); and his grandchildren, Dylan Irons, Randy Tarleton (Mandy), Ty and Talon Umstead.
