Ellen Johnson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Johnson of Cornelius, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Everett Hixson and Edith Beatrice Hixson (Jaeger); her husband Donald James Johnson; her sister Carol Anne Baune; and her nephew Daniel Baune.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Louise Brennan, Amy Beth Johnson and Ruth Ellen Martinsen; her son-in-law Bob; her son Wesley Everett Johnson; and her siblings, Della Jane Jenkins (David) and James Everett Hixson, II (Bettina). She is also survived by nine nephews, one niece, four grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Her last years were spent living with Alzheimer's, under the care of her children and finally with assistance from the Hospice services. It is with this in mind, that the family wishes all memorial donations be directed to any of the following: Alzheimer's Foundation, Women's Health Initiative, Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region.
