It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Ormsby of Cornelius, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Edward and Gladys Colborn Ormsby of Effingham, Illinois.; his sister Lusina Ormsby Sayre of Indianapolis; and his stepsons, Ronnie Allen and James David Monk.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Johnson Ormsby of Mooresville, NC; his daughters, Jennifer Ormsby (Mark Voerman) of Greensboro, NC and Amanda Ormsby (Patrick Piper) of Atlanta, Georgia; his brother Edward Ormsby (Margaret) of Huntersville, NC; and his brother-in-law Al Sayer of Indianapolis. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
