He was predeceased by: his parents, William Crawford Conard and Caroline Summey Conard; and his siblings, James E. Conard, Richard Conard, Harold Conard, Inez Britt and Imogene Ervin.
He is survived by: his wife Frances "Fran" Walker Conard of Cornelius; his sons, Jeffrey Conard (Tracey) of Fort Mill, SC and Roger Conard (Nicole) of Lenoir, NC; his grandchildren, Lauren Conard, Scott Conard, Raegan Conard and Rylee Conard; and his great grandchild Mason Conard. He is also survived by "Papa", loved his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
