With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Thomas Shores Jr. of Cornelius, North Carolina, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas Shores, Sr. and Alma Curlee Shores; and his sister Rebecca Shores Barger. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Shores; his son Charles Thomas Shores, III (Tommy); his daughter-in-law Betsy Kiefer Shores; his granddaughter Alexa of Cornelius; his brothers, David Shores (Sheila) of Heath Springs, SC and John Shores (Susan) of Salisbury; and his brother-in-law Wayne Barbee (Susanne) of High Point. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
