She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Wilson and Nancy Wilson; her husband John David Howard; and her son Jeremy Howard. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura McGuire (Gregory) and Melanie McCrea; her grandchildren, Cassie, Summer, Jaysa, Ryder, Cole, Jacob and Jarrett; her sisters, June Lane (Bill) and Donna McMillan (Robin); and her sisters-in-law, Gretha Woodard, Lynda Blackwelder, Vickie McKinney (Vick) and Tammy Cain.
