She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brotherton and Ruth Luther Brotherton; her husband Thomas; and her daughter Beverly Hager. She is survived by: her children, Thomas L. Hager, Jr. (Cheri) of Cornelius and Glenda Shanks (Doug) of Cornelius; and her siblings, Pat Honeycutt, Pete Kufeld and Bill Brotherton (Toni). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
