She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Earl Smith; and her sisters, Duffie Blankenship, Sharon Harless, Billie Lively and Gayle Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Smith of Hickory and Gigi Williams of Cornelius; her son-in-law Tony Williams of Cornelius; her grandchildren, Brittany, Kelsey, Hunter, Sarah and Brooke; her brother John Beane of Sherrills Ford, N. C.; and her siblings-in-law, Roseanna Beane of Sherrills Ford, N. C. and Bob Lively of Toms Brook.
