It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Marinakis of Cornelius, North Carolina, born in Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on June 21, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander G. Marinakis and Evangeline L. Marinakis; and his brother Peter A. Marinakis. He is survived by: his children, Christopher A. Marinakis (Sarah), Alexander A. Marinakis (Kely) and Marcella M. Peters (Michael); his grandchildren, Samantha L. Egebrecht (Nicholas), Zachary A. Marinakis (Taylor), Anthony C. Marinakis, Olivia M. Atkinson (Samuel) and Alexander C. Marinakis; his great grandchildren, Preston Egebrecht, Bennett Egebrecht and Ava Marinakis; and his siblings, George A. Marinakis and Stella M. Tsirelis.
