She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smith and Sallie Smith; her husband Rev. Frank Vinson Sr.; and her daughter Dianne Godbey. She is survived by: her children, George Vinson Jr., Lynn Britt (Mike) of Cornelius, Brenda Elwood (Elbert) of Concord, Valerie Lemmond (Bill) of Indian Trail and Wendy Catalani (Paul) of Cornelius; and her sister Catherine Hinson of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
