It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Hunsucker of Cordova, North Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Allen and Elizabeth Ann Campbell Hunsucker; his wife Marilyn Hunsucker; his children, Ricky Hunsucker, Jr. (Sara) of Laurel Hill, Chris Hunsucker (Crystal) of Hamlet and Alicia Lunceford (John) of Cordova; his grandchildren, Diamond Oxendine (Alex), Johnny Lunceford, Cain Hunsucker, Liz Lunceford and Cooper Hunsucker; his great grandchild Wrenn Oxendine; and his siblings, Mike Bowman of Rockingham and Faye Mauldin of Hamlet.
