She is survived by: her adoptive parents, Nancy McCroy Hook and John Hook; her father Richard McCroy; her husband Steven Christopher Batton; her children, Zachariah Isaiah Batton, Steven Lee Batton of Hamlet, Adam Timothy Batton (Megan) of Wilmington and Sarah Elizabeth Capps of Hamlet; her grandchildren, Gage and Walker Batton; and her siblings, Dawn Greene, Laura Hook, Mike and Jason Hook.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
