It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Kennedy Edenfield of Corapeake, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Neal Kennedy and Hester Ferrell Pierce. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Marie Jarratt (Glenn); her fiancé George Michael Mathias; and her sister Violet Vaughan (Chris). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
