She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nurney and Hattie Ward Wiggins; and her spouse Thomas Robertson. She is survived by: her children, Brenda R. Harmon (Mac) of Suffolk, Thomas W. Robertson (Annette) of Charlotte, Dennis Robertson (Macey) of Suffolk and Debi Robertson of Greenville; her grandchildren, Sheila Rawls, Scott Fisher, Susan Milliken, Christy Richards, Wendy Bastian, Buddy Fisher, Baron Robertson, Marcus Robertson, Jennie Robertson, Regan Lee, Jordan Lee and Keaton Lee; and her sister Shirley Layden (Wesley, Sr.) of Hobbsville. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eureka Baptist Church (1601 NC-32, Corapeake, NC 27926). A reception was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall.
