He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Turner Flythe, Sr. and Lillian Erekson Flythe. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jones Flythe; his son Jeffrey Flythe (Danielle); his grandsons, Mitchell Henry Flythe and Lucas Erekson Flythe; his sisters, Bettie Garrison (Ray) of Yarmouth, MA and Brenda Dennis (Robert) of Lawrenceville, VA; and his sister-in-law Jane Flythe of Gilbert, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Baptist Men of Beulah Baptist Church, P.O. Box 101, Sunbury, NC 27979.
