He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodson Shore and Mary Reeves Shore; and his siblings, Collen Smith, Nancy Durham, Tom, Buck, Joe and Robert Shore.
He is survived by: his wife Angeline Shore; his daughters, Christina Straughn (Bill) of Salisbury and Michele Shaver (Scott) of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Steffi Wolford (Jacob) and Michaela Shaver; and his great grandchild Lucas Curwood Wolford.
