With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Clawson Lagle (Cooleemee, North Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Claude Johnson; her husband Homer Lee Lagle; her parents-in-law, Ted and Swannie Lagle; her siblings, Hazel Howard (Otis), Mae Warlick (Brady), Alice Belton (Phil), Roy Clawson, Edd Clawson (Sadie), Kenneth Clawson, Claude Clawson and Marshall Clawson; and her granddaughter Gabrielle Molestina.
She is survived by: her children, June Culbreth (David) of Advance, Buddy Lagle (Miriam) of Ecuador and Gene Lagle (Tammy) of Cooleemee; her sister-in-law Peggy Clawson; her grandchildren, Lewis Correll (Susan), Bradley Lagle (Amanda), Steven Lagle (Candi), Jessica Barber (Adam), Chelsea Miller (Ben), Whitney McGaha (Mike), Lauren Roberts (Darian), Carlos Molestina (Jerri), Carla Molestina, Andress Molestina and Sofia Molestina; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Caleb Correll, Carter, Ethan, Ava, Brody Lagle, Cora Leigh, Tate, Addison, Rome Barber, Callie Miller, Tyler Culbreth, Alyssa Smith, Laney Roberts, Alex, Morgan Culbreth, Cody McGaha, Roberto, River, Kimber and Max Molestina. She is also survived by two great nephews.
