She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hairston and Irene Clinton Hairston; her daughter Margaret Sheila Hairston; and her sibling Love. She is survived by: her children, Alton Lane of Mocksville, Stacy Lane of Mocksville, Tal Lane of New York, Mary Lane, Cecilia Lane Ijames (Curtis) of Salisbury and Irene McDonald of Mocksville. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.
