She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Martin and Ollie Pruitt Martin; her husband Johnny Mack Mayfield; her children, Frank Mayfield, Alvin Mayfield, John Lewis Mayfield, Felton Mayfield, Doris Gray and Deborah James; her siblings, Felton Martin, Wilton Martin, Charlie Martin, Vernon Martin, Calvin Martin, Lessie Allen and Thelma Wood; and her children-in-law, Lucille Mayfield, Louise Mayfield and John Irvin Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Wilton Mayfield (Kimberly) of Mocksville, Ruby Howell of Cooleemee, Lexeris Cline of Cooleemee and Olympia Neely (Milton) of Salisbury; and her daughters-in-law, Savannah Mayfield and Judy Mayfield. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 87 great grandchildren; 47 great great-grandchildren.
