She was predeceased by: her parents, Lizzor Williams and Lonnie O'Neal; her former husband Grover Barnes; her husband Bobby McDaniel, Sr.; her sons, Timothy Barnes, Kenneth "Red" Barnes, Lonnie "Hammer" Barnes and Gary "Tink" Barnes; and her siblings, Leon O'Neal and Mary Frances Moody.
She is survived by: her son Bobby McDaniel, Jr. of Cooleemee; and her siblings, Arnold O'Neal of Cooleemee and Sybil Russell of Cooleemee.
