She was predeceased by: her father James Floyd Basinger; her husband Mickey Roy Adams; her brothers, Terry Basinger and Mikey Basinger; and her daughter Patricia D. Hancock.
She is survived by: her sister JudyWilliams; her children, John Dwiggins of Cooleemee, Tommy Adams and Darla Smyers (Bruce) of Mocksville; her son-in-law David Hancock of Mocksville; and her grandchildren, Russell Hancock (Tiffany) of Mocksville, Joshua Smyers (Amber) of Roaring River, NC and Anna Valentine (Seth) of Galax, VA. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
