He was predeceased by: his parent John Wright Reeves; and his siblings, Robert Lester Reeves, Lois Reeves, Ollie Miller and Kathleen Griffin.
He is survived by: his parent Etta Mae Jackson Reeves; his daughter Donna Whitaker of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Destiny Ketchie and Kayla Denton; his great grandchildren, Gracie, Heidi Ketchie, Emily, Grayson and Zachary Denton; and his siblings, Carl Richard Reeves of Mocksville, Cora Etta Beck and Emma Tutterow.
