We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2019, at the age of 79, Bessie Wilson (Cooleemee, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Sharon Venice, Lonnie Alexander, Jr. and Reginald Alan; her husband Lonnie Wilson; her daughter Sharon Swygert (Adrian); her siblings, Helen Beaty (Arthur), Ruby Melvin (Herbert), Brenda Honeycutt, Lonnie Cranfield (Lynda), Ronnie Cranfield, Susan Murray (Terry) and Althea Scoggins (Karl); her grandchildren, Monique Wilson, Gabriella Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Sydney Doucette Wilson and Ariana Swygert; her great grandchild Nadiya Wilson; her sisters-in-law, Jessie Wilson, Mildred Phifer and Mary Lee Bines; and her goddaughter Regina Carson. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to New Shepherd Baptist Church, P.O. Box 548, Cooleemee, NC 27014.
