He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Tyler and Gussie Tyler (Todd); his siblings, Larry, Richard Tyler, Loretta Adams and Claudette Woods; and his stepdaughter Rebeca Floyd Mooney.
He is survived by: his wife Martha R. Floyd Tyler; his daughter Sandy Tyler Williams of Prince George, VA; his stepson Goley M. Floyd of Green Sea, SC; and his brother Isaac Tyler (Diane). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
