With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Sumner Clemmons of Conway, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Everette and Bernice Futrell Sumner of Conway; her brother Wiley Edward Sumner; and her brother-in-law Luther C. Hall. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Clemmons; her daughter Sue Clemmons Harris (Alan); her sister Betsy Hall Phelps (Harrell); and her siblings-in-law, Priscilla Sumner, Waddell Clemmons (Judy), Danny Clemmons (Wanda), Don Clemmons (Debbie) and Betty Galloway. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
