He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Boothe Woodard and Aubrey Otis Woodard Sr.; his wife Kathleen White Woodard; his son Gilbert E. Woodard Jr.; and his siblings, Aubrey Otis Jr., Kenneth, Linwood, Shirley, John and Onita Woodard Sexton.
He is survived by: his son Gary W. Woodard (Charlotte B.); his daughter-in-law Anne B. Woodard; his grandchildren, Catherine A. Woodard, Laura J. Woodard, Dr. James T. Woodard (Liz O.) and Beth W. Armstrong (Matt); and his great grandchildren, John R. Woodard and Thomas O. Woodard.
