He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie M. Cooper and Mary Sue Sarvis Cooper; and his brothers, James E. Cooper and John Cooper. He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Turbeville Cooper of Conway, SC; his children, James "Mac" M. Cooper of Conway, SC, Charles "Chuck" M. Cooper of Conway, SC, Nicole Stiff (David) of Fayetteville, NC and Tammy Cooper of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his sister Pat West of Conway, SC..
