He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kenneth and Oney Suggs (Suggs); and his brother Ben "B. J.". He is survived by: his wife Bridgett Buffkin; his children, William Carl Suggs, Jr. of Loris, Billy Buffkin (Michelle) of Tennessee, Theresa Faircloth (Jamie Stone) of Clarendon, NC and Sheila McKenzie of Hartsville, SC; and his sister Mildred Goud. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
