She is survived by: her husband William Thomas Cherry; her children, Erica Cherry of Conway, NC and Brian O'Neal Cherry of Durham, NC; her grandsons, Johnathan and Brandon Joyner; and her sisters, Virginia Person of Jacksonville, NC and Kay Scott of Clayton, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
