She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryne Elizabeth Allison and Willard Bumgarner; and her sister Kathryne Phyllis Bumgarner Lail. She is survived by: her brother Charles Davis Bumgarner (Sarah) of Charlotte; her nieces and nephews, Zack Bumgarner of Albuquerque and Daniel Bumgarner of Charlotte; her great-nephews, William Hairston of Asheville, Thomas Hairston of Boone and Robert Smith of Newton; and her great-niece Kathryne Smith of Newton.

Due to the continued concern of Covid-19, a service will not be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Catawba County.
