He was predeceased by: his father William Hiley Davis (Bill). He is survived by: his children, Hiley Davis Baucom (Alex Baucom) and Hunter William Davis; his granddaughter Jolie Alexandra Baucom; his wife Leigh Mauney Davis; his mother Kay Henderson Davis; his sisters, Ann Kolb (Mack) and Pat Baker (Bryan); and his parents-in-law, Charles, Lynne Mauney, Kaki Kiebel (Bill), Carla Matheson (Colin) and Stephen Mauney (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Carolina Caring/Hospice or the abta.org (American Brain Tumor Association).
