Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virgina Dare Coley (Conover, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 101, on January 8, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert G. Moore, Sr. and Alda Stiles Moore of Catawba, NC.; her son Earl P. Spencer; her husband J. Nelson Coley; her granddaughter Laurie Jane Matheson; and her daughter-in-law Joyce S. Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Matheson (Robert) of Conover and Steven E. Spencer of Roxboro; and her grandchildren, Scott Spencer (Bobbie) of Roxboro and Johanna Carter of Roxboro. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters and two great- grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19, Jane Matheson respectfully requests no visitors to her home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church, 701 North Main Ave. Newton, NC 29658 or Catawba County Library, 115 West C. Street, Newton, NC 28658.
