He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavon Schrage Brown Schultz and Virgil Louis Brown Sr.; and his son Douglas Brown. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Brown. He is also survived by two sons, two daughters, one grandchild, two step-sons, five step-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.
