She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Gene Tallent and Shirlene Houser Hipp; and her brother Samuel Robin Tallent. She is survived by: her sons, Bart Leatherman of Raleigh and Tyson Leatherman of Hickory; her siblings, Niles Tallent of Vale, Perry Tallent of Cherryville and Roxanne Tallent of Conover; her grandchildren, Kailyn Bowman and Ryder Bowman; her nieces, Holly Kiser, Jessica Barber and Lily Tallent; and her nephew Will Tallent.
