It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ted David Sims of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sims and Gladys Taylor Sims; his wife Frances Herman Sims; his siblings, Mickey Sims, Jack Sims, Evadene Scronce, Audrey Carpenter and Alice Sims; and his sisters-in-law, Judy and Linda.
He is survived by: his daughter Rita S. Brittain (Mike) of Conover; and his grandson Michael David Brittain (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
